Spent a lot of time crying
When you got locked away.
I wanted to go home so bad
But I decided to stay.

Day in day out, one hotel after another
Not having a place to call home.
Living in my litte car
I can't make it alone.

We work so hard to get it
But always finish last.
Barely a cent to our name
It came n went so fast.

What started off so good
Money used to always be flowin.
Doing whatever it takes
Neither of us knowin.

So far from our goal
Barely able to survive.
What we do to get money
Seems to be no end to this life.

But Baby, you're my rock my lifemate my soul my friend
You keep me strong when times get tough.
When I fall down you pick me up
I'll stick by ur side thru thick n thin.
